The art of doing less.
To feel more.

Finding balance at the Yoga Hotel South Tyrol

Body and mind as a team: In Matill, movement, breathing and nutrition are interlinked. As a yoga hotel in South Tyrol, we combine vegan organic cuisine with yoga, Qi Gong, meditation and sound journeys. Old rituals meet fresh approaches – for a holistic sense of well-being that you will feel in the long term.

Breathing and movement in harmony

Do less, pause earlier. Our approach is based on the idea of recognising boundaries rather than crossing them. Host Johanna personally accompanies selected units – with mindfulness and clarity. Yoga, Qi Gong, progressive muscle relaxation, back exercises and breathing exercises consciously strengthen and mobilise the body. Not higher, faster, further – but deeper, calmer, clearer.

A close-up of a person's hand in a meditative gesture, resting on their knee. The individual is seated cross-legged on a light-colored yoga mat, wearing a fitted brown outfit. The atmosphere conveys calmness and focus.

Meditation does not mean standing still, but mindfully letting your thoughts wander.

Yoga is meditation in motion – more than just physical practice.

Experience old rituals anew Impulses for a more
open mind

Revitalising traditions is a real concern for us. Whether in the field or on the mat – ancient knowledge about nature, cycles and inner balance finds its place in Matill. Sound journeys create expansiveness, meditation provides grounding, cocoa ceremonies direct the gaze inwards. Annual festivals invite us to consciously set intentions for the coming year. Rituals that connect – with ourselves and with what surrounds us.

A place without a sense of time – just peace, space and room for an open mind.
